The German Computer Game Award is the most prestigious award for digital games in Germany and is presented annually. In 2025, the awards ceremony was held at the Palais Funkturm in Berlin, and we were involved in the planning and organization from the very beginning.
Katrin Bauerfeind and Uke Bosse served as hosts on stage. Among those invited to deliver laudatory speeches were Dorothee Bär, Federal Minister for Research, Technology, and Space; Kai Wegner, Governing Mayor of Berlin; comedian Kaya Yanar; Crytek co-founder Avni Yerli; as well as streamer Jasmin Sibel (aka Gnu) and cosplayer Leslie (aka Farbenfuchs).
Stage design
Idea, development, implementation.
We were completely responsible for the stage design and implemented it on behalf of Game Events GmbH and our stage construction partners, from the first rendering to the finished stage. A holistic view of the production, taking into account the lighting design, event sequence and audio design, created a coherent overall picture that contributes to the individual character of the event and even helps to shape it.
Logo evolution
Design & Graphics
In addition to the stage design, our 2024 team also focused on refining the DCP logo. We deliberately aimed for a refinement and a contemporary update rather than a complete redesign. A new, modern look for existing and established graphic elements. Evolution rather than revolution.
Media
Conception, realization, production.
We brought the large LED wall on the stage to life with individually designed and produced 3D animations. We produced individual inserts for all nominees as well as category dividers and inserts for the winners, which organically fit into the stage design and CI of the event.

On behalf of Game Events GmbH, we have already successfully developed and brought to life content and designs for the DCP in the past. As a team, we want to continue to give this important award for the German games industry a fitting and unique character in the future.
